Comments from Carson....

This kid is absolutely hysterical.

Driving to school on Monday he asks me why my truck doesn't have a loud engine like daddy's does and why can't I revvvvvv it up. I tell him that my truck is more luxurious than daddy's, that's why!

His response:

"Well maybe if you take it to the mechanic shop, he can tune it up and it will be LOUD like daddy's truck!"

Surrrrrrrreeee ok then.

Then on the way home on Thursday out of nowhere he says:

"mommy, I love your pretty toes."

Ok so my toes are definitely not pretty since they haven't been pedicured in a good 3 months but I will take it. He just melts me....

dadadadadaaaaaaaaaahhhdaaaa!!

Before I forget I had to post that Tyler's new sound as of today is dada but he says it with so much passion and with lots of ahhhhhhs in front of the dada. Too cute!!

Our first no nap weekend.

Carson decided he didn't feel like napping this weekend. This kid loves his sleep and his bed and this was the first time ever he has refused to nap. He's turning 3 in a few short weeks and I know that naps become short-lived in the next year but I want to hang on to them as long as I can!

But here is proof that he still NEEDS them.....we decided to go grocery shopping around 3:30 which was a few hours after his normal nap time....

Tyler - 8 months!

Yes, 8 months already and it just keeps getting so much more fun!

I hate to post and run but this mama is exhausted. I need to get the bags ready for school tomorrow and get myself organized for work. I hate Sundays.

My big boy - the countdown to 3.

A month from tomorrow Carson will be THREE. I cannot even believe it. He is so big. We had a nice weekend with weather warm enough to play outside and I was in shock at how much he has changed from last year. He really is a different kid and I get teary eyed thinking that my first born baby boy is now big.

He is so smart and I'm not just saying that because he's mine (hahaha!), he really is smart and I think he outwits me too! And he's so freakin' funny. He keeps us laughing all day long. I know I should really write down the conversations we have and my mom keeps telling me to do so but I just forget. Ugh.

So maybe I will start now. Hmmmmm. Anyway, just wanted to post quickly and share a recent pic of him.
